The day kicked off with a break from the norm as Ant sent out for McDonalds. The entertainment began with a special preview Star Wars episode 3 - in Lego! (needs Quicktime)

Most of the group are above 30 so it always takes us time to get up and running and it's not until 11:30 Dave that makes tea for all. Jornce fires up a quick game of Raven Shield. Fully loaded with tea, and equipment plugged in everyone get into the game for some terrorist hunting. Dave, always the Frag King, takes up a tactical stance in the deployment zone and lobs grenades over the building to "assist" his fellow team members, though with the death of Parm and wounding of several others, we question which side he's on. Repeated failure to eliminate all the bad guys is a common occurrence but moral is still high as we switch to the Streets map. All looks to be going well with an average tally of over 35 terrorists even though everyone was new to the map. We push on to conquer Streets once and for all. With all bar Jornce and Parm dead and only 5 terrorists remaining, the remnants of the team hunt down the last few. Jornce falls to a headshot at point blank range and cursed himself for not having any ammunition in his gun. But fortunately Parm was not so foolish and was able score the 5 kills to claim victory for the team.

With the tangos defeated we decided to do what we do best. Shoot each other. The Streets map has proved popular so each side of the table squares up for some Team Survival. With 7 people at the party the teams aren't even but after much arguing the Reds accept that Dave should be on their team. Even with Dave the Reds dominated to claim 6 victories to 1.

The training map saw the players showing no loyalty for the previous teams as the action switch to solo survival. Ant showed his determination here by leading from the start and winning 3 rounds ahead. Everyone else managed to win a round each.

A LAN Party favourite was called for and Bomb on the Presido map was next up. The Greens faired slightly better this time being able to claw back from back from Red long lead to finish just one round behind.

After the excitement of the Presido map Dave suggested a hostage mission on the Banking House map. With all 10 rounds played in less than 5 minutes it is fair to say that hostage missions were not this linkups forte.

Raven Shield's final match for the day was a game of Pilot using the Island Estate map. With revenge strong in they're hearts Green's struck with force to win 8-2 both.

With mid-afternoon past a change of game was in order and a new game for the group was introduced. Call of Duty.

Moments of Note

Rich killing Matt  because "he started next to me so I shot hit- whoops sorry".

Parm having the fastest reactions to win his teams only victory by taking out all four of the opponents team on his own in the opening RS game.

Jornce and Matt staring at each other for some time deciding if they were on the same team or not? Matt decided not first.

Parm and Dave doing a Tom and Jerry type chase around a room with Parm giving up the chase expecting Dave to turn around to face him and not continue around the room and shoot him in the back.

Rich's surprise when Jornce strolls through his tear gas to execute him mercilessly, obviously not aware that gas masks are available to everyone
