Further Information

The Pearl, named after the pirate ship from the Pirates of the Carribean for those non film buffs, is the first PC I've built myself. Previously I've owned a HP machine and an Alienware. Pearl takes pride of place in the living room where it acts as a media centre. Thanks to my 8800 GTS I can now enjoy games at the native res on my lovely Dell 3007WFP. I tend to only play on Saturday mornings, thanks to an endless workload, meeting up with some of the others from the group online or just conquiring the world in Rome Total War on my own. My plans for the next year is to maybe change the CPU to but as that means a whole new motherboard I'm still thinking about it. I will be getting Vista in June/July.
